April: Unist’ot’en Camp Speaking Tour in ‘USA’

Share

The Unist’ot’en Camp is an ongoing non-violent occupation of Unceded Unist’ot’en territory that started in 2009. As it stands, the camp is preventing the construction of a massive pipeline corridor that would allow further expansion of the tar sands and fracking industry in Northern B.C.

Freda Huson, camp spokesperson, and Dini Ze Toghestiy will be speaking about their experiences with the camp, fighting for indigenous sovereignty and resisting fossil fuel expansion, as they tour the “USA” side of the Pacific Northwest, raising funds for the next phase of their 100% grassroots funded and built Healing Lodge and promoting their spring building camp, beginning in May.

You won’t want to miss out on this rare chance to hear these amazing activists speak and to meet them in person.
